Policies - Firewall

The firewall module manages firewall rules, such as block a user mac address which in effect blocks the user from accessing the network, Block TCP or UDP for block certain website or port from being accessible to the user. The policy can let you set it globally for all NAS/equipment or to a specific NAS equipment. To access the firewall module click on Policies > Firewall from the navigation.

* NOTE : The firewall module is only supported by few NAS brand as some does not support push API from Kiwire™, refer to the equipment compatible list.

Add Firewall Policy

To add a new firewall policy, click on “Create Policy” button and populate the required fields. Fill in the field to complete the process.

Edit/Delete Firewall Policy

Click the edit icon on the listing screen to edit the firewall policy. The edit screen be display which you can edit the setting of the firewall policy. Click on the delete icon to delete the firewall policy. A prompt will be display to ask for your confirmation to proceed to delete the firewall policy. Please exercise with cautions as this not a reversible action.
