Cambium Networks Configuration for Kiwire Hotspot
Prerequisites
Before integrating the controller with Kiwire, it is necessary that the controller and access point:

are connected to the Internet

are reachable on the network

have an IP address assigned to the a through DHCP or static
Note:

Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-ip can be obtain by contacting our technical support for our cloud customer. For enterprise client the ip will be on premises Kiwire ip address.

Part 1: Cambium cnMaestro configuration

Login to your Cambium cnMaestro controller

Go to WLANs > Configuration > AAA Servers

Authentication Server
-
Host: Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-Ip

Secret: create a secret pass phrase
-
Port: 1812

Timeout: 3 seconds

Attempts: 1

Accounting Server

Host: Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-ip

Secret: secret same as authentication server

Kiwire 3.0 Administrator - Logging into Kiwire
To access Kiwire platform, open your internet browser and type “https://kiwireIP/admin/”. For example if your Kiwire installation IP is 192.168.0.1 then your URL will be “https://192.168.0.1/admin” in the address field. If your assigned domain name is
controller.synchroweb.com then your URL will be
https://controller.synchroweb.com/admin.
Input the default username and password details provided below and click the “Login” button to login into Kiwire platform.
Steps for Single Tenant Kiwire:

Go to Internet Browser, type “https://kiwireIP/admin/” e.g. https://192.168.0.1/admin to access Kiwire.

Enter your Username.

Enter your Password.
-
Click the “Login” button to log in.
Default Access for Single Tenant Kiwire Platform
Steps for Cloud or multi-tenant edition:

Go to internet browser, type “https://kiwireIP/admin/” e.g. https://192.168.0.1/admin to access Kiwire.

Enter the Tenant ID.
-
Enter your Username.
-
Enter your Password.
-
Click the “Login” button to login in.
Default Access for Multi Tenant Kiwire Platform
NOTE:
If you login for the 1st time, you will be presented with a Change password screen to ask you to change your credential. Please change your Default access to secure password, prevent abuse and for security reasons.
The system will auto logout users if there is no activity detected on the platform for more than 20 minutes.
